Early

Today's 9 route was five minutes early. This is not a good thing when the route only comes by every twenty-five minutes in the mornings.

The driver didn't look familiar. I've noticed that the past two days have had unfamiliar faces. Maybe tomorrow, the driver will have a hockey mask on.

I told the driver "You're five minutes early. I think someone else is coming." because some guy with a briefcase is usually there for the 06:50 and it would suck for him to have to sit outside for 25 minutes in an unlit bus shelter.

The driver waited about thirty seconds, then lollygagged through the route to arrive late Downtown. They could have stayed for a few minutes, but instead they decided to make up time in a way that made sure more people would miss their run.

Real nice. I couldn't think of a better way to serve the community.

I push my seat back, look down. I count my legs: one, two.

Well, knowing METRO, things could be worse.

Chew

In addition to putting her tail in her mouth and walking in circles on the fence, Piper also chews and paws at the blanket she's sitting on every now and then.

You've probably seen a sequence or two of her doing this on the catcams.

Anyway, she does this with the grey blanket I sleep in every now and then. She's usually pretty good about not chewing through the blanket to bite into my leg or sink a claw into my ankle.

Last night, she wasn't terribly careful. However, she wasn't clawing and biting into my leg, but a certain orange-boy's tail that was under the blanket.

She kneaded on Nardo's tail, and he hates his tail being played or toyed with.

Nardo meowed and looked over, and Piper, who was inches away from the goofball, swatted at him.

She then fled for the foot of the bed and growed at her tail for a bit before coming back...

To chew on the blanket on the other side of the bed.
