Volunteer Work Days Scheduled:
We are seeking volunteers to
work daily. Activities may include framing, insulating, running electricals,
finishing work, clean-up, or other tasks. Volunteers are asked to call
Josh Price at 260-343-1974 to inquire about specific needs as they
change daily.
Please dress for the weather
and work assigned. There is no need to bring power tools unless
instructed or asked specifically to do so, but other tools may be used.
We
will provide water and/or Gatorade, a porta-potty, and bug spray.
This work is being done at the new site, located 1.5 miles west of the
stoplight in Albion on West Main Street (in town), which is also known
as CR 300 N, at the property marked with a sign reading "4-H Park" and
"50-50-50 Project". All volunteers will be asked to sign a waiver
of liability and compensation, and provide emergency contact
information. For more info, please call the park office at
260-636-7383. Thank you!
