You got me to thinking. Sure, it's cute to have a bunch of nominations and votes for a deck of cards representing bloggers, but what's the difference between a three of spades and a four of spades? Less popular vs. more popular.
Pfeh.
It would be even more of a challenge to take the standard Tarot deck and try to fit a blogger to match each card personality-wise.
So, I'm going to work through the Tarot deck card by card, trying to figure out a blogger that fits each card's meaning and history.
I'm going to need your help in doing so. I may think a card best fits one blogger, but you might think it fits another blogger entirely. Or I might not know of a blogger, or you might think of a blogger in a different way.
This one's a bit difficult to figure out. The reason why I didn't give the last one to Steven Den Beste was that I had him in mind for this card based on his health woes interrupting his output. However, there's also the possibility of tapping Andrew Sullivan for this one based on his crawling out of the dirt the MSM tossed him into and "reinventing" himself with a blogging facade. The problem with Sullivan is that I'd hardly consider him a model of self control. Sullivan may actually match a Pentacles card based on his willingness to comprimise integrity and honesty for greed, and he's also a possible Cups card with the obvious single-issue theme he keeps coming back to.
Of course, I could be wrong. Feel free to make suggestions in the comments. Also, you're more than welcome to consider a reversed blogger for this card
